WORKSHOP FOR CHILDREN - Painting a Musical Story

 The idea for this workshop emerged from two preschoolers who wanted to explore their interest in art during the school holidays. The duo invited three of their friends friends to join us as we explored with 2 elements of art – lines and colours, to create an art piece inspired by music from the story ‘Peter and the Wolf' played by Chicago Symphony Orchestra and narrated by David Bowie. They explored with using different types of lines to create a visual representation of the music and with mixing various shades of colours to express the timbre of each piece as they listened. They were also encouraged to share their work with each other and provide feedback through comments and questions about the art pieces.​
